Caipirinha - tipical brazilian drink
Caipirinha to one person
Put in a glass where you will server:
1 sliced lemon (green lime) with the shell and without the seeds
1 table spoon of sugar (or according to your taste).
- Press the lemon with the sugar very well with a spoon.
Put some pieces of crashed ice and 1 dose of 'cachaça' (alchool of sugar-cane, tipical from Brasil). Mix everything.
It is called caipiroska when you use VODKA instead of cachaça.
You can put more 'cachaça' or vodka if you want it stronger.

That's a lovely drink indeed! I usually add a bit of soda water to dilute it though, and I use white rum instead of cachaça.

Anne, when you use white rum, it's called caipiríssima.
Deia, thanks!! I've never tried cachaça - and I try not to collect too many different kinds of alcohol, the bottles take up so much space. Now I can go on drinking my caipiríssimas instead :)
